Raj started his career as a financial analyst at Pepsi Canada , after two years as an analyst Raj obtained his MBA from the Schulich School of Business before enrolling in the Juris Doctor program at Osgoode Hall Law School. Having completed his JD MBA, Raj articled for a prominent international law firm based in Toronto, Canada and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014. That same year Raj returned to the firm as a first year associate in the business law group where his practiced focused on all areas of corporate law with a specialization in private mergers & acquisitions.

In 2015, Raj took a leave of absence from the practice of law to seek a seat in Parliament in his home riding of Brampton East. In October 2015, Raj was elected and served as a Member of Parliament from October 2015 to 2019 and served on the House of Commons standing committee of Finance, Government operations and Health.

In 2019, Raj returned from Ottawa and founded RSG Law in Brampton, Ontario. In the early days of the firm, Raj was a sole practitioner providing a high level of legal services with a client focused approach. The firm has had incredible growth under the leadership of Raj and now provides services in a variety of different legal areas, while still maintaining a client focused approach which has been a staple of Raj’s career.

Raj brings a unique perspective to the development process, having worked and gained experience in both the private and public sector, Raj is able to provide his clients with practical advice to ensure projects are on time and under budget.
